Anybody saw this? I know some people here like soviet-era planes. Here is the link:
http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?searchid=43795914

Name of the file: aeroproyecto_il62m.zip
I downloaded it but not installed it yet. Maybe someone else do a better review for us :encouragement:

Just saw in the zip file: just one MDL. So, a fs9 port-over.

Well, they are back. A beta of Il-62M for FSX and P3D v3 is there. It has fully working navigation systems (NV-PB, INS21, KLN90b), fuel panel, fuel jettison system, TCAS, comms and autopilot. The engineering panel is under constraction. It includes VC.

Is there a home page you can give a link for...?

Please don't ask me how to start the systems, because to take these pictures and fly a bit around, I kept only the XML gauges, discarded all 2D panels, basically stripping this aircraft of any intelligence... Don't try it at home! But Kirill and PT team did a really nice job...

I found this aircraft a real fps killer, dropped from mid 30's with most a/c to 3, so unflyable. I don't see why unless it is the many XML files as the textures are not huge.

Oh, cool. Great to see this is being worked on, been waiting for years.

I'll hold on to my seat until it's out of beta though. It's complicated enough without bugs.

Cant see any bugs actually here. It is missing some key engineering funcionalities and VC still needs clickability on Overhead panel but it has properly working 4 navigations systems which arw very demanding from learning perspective.

Actually i find it good learning approach to focus on navigation now in beta and then learn all engineering when final version is released.
