I've been playing around with retexturing the VC and doing a personal livery for this fun aircraft. The interior is looking better, but I think I might need to back off on the alpha a bit, lol

Falcon409 that's a good looking airplane. Maybe as you said, a little too shiny. A person certainly wouldn't want to be without their sun glasses around it. What airplane is that?

That's the A.F. Scrub Cavalier Mustang. I wanted to see if it would take a shine and so I just threw an alpha channel on it and you see the results, lol. I'm toning it way back, but the livery will be polished aluminum with some civilian graphics added to it. It has some odd poly's to it in certain areas so I don't know yet what that'll do to the paint job. I'll just have to work around it. I like it cause it's not Hi-Tech. . .it's a simple airplane model, with just enough detail to make it appealing, nice sounds and flight dynamics.

Sometimes there's a lot to be said for simple.

These skins might work in FSX?

He's done a nice job for sure, but, with due respect to his talent. . .I didn't go to this extent to use someone else's skins. I have one livery in mind and that's all I'll be doing. Thanks.

Work continues. Rivets are next, then insignia and some details and stenciling yet as well.

Looking good :applause: . Your paint scheme has motivated me to find the airplane and download :running: a copy.

Thank you.

Here are a few more shots RD. Also. . .not sure why I didn't notice this before, but nothing in the VC is clickable?? That's odd really, even if it was an FS9 port, that's normally not a problem.

Looking better and better. I really like the orange flight suit on the pilot. The lack of clickable vc spots is of no concern to me as I hardly ever bother with them. Lordy! This airplane is the only way that I will ever have a personal "Mustang."

Yep, this is the only livery I'm doing. . .just something to cruise around in as a personal "steed", lol
