Stramge issue using add-on installers

So the past month or so I have had this issue, where FSX add-on installers direct themselves to P3D. On some installers I can change the path, but others I can not change and thereby not install the add-on. So does anybody know how to overcome this issue?

Do you have the Estonia Migration Tool turned on? It does exactly this.

I do not use the Estonia Migration Tool, only native installers on both.

I think it was ORBX who released a registry fixing tool of some sorts.

I do not know of any Orbx tool. I should add I have run the Flight1 registry repair tool without any luck.
