A very cool update to the RFN TACAN gauge came out this week.

It has a new "GoTo" feature that allows you to position your aircraft directly to the deck of the carrier. It's a new item in the gauge drop down menu.
By default it will place you in the landing zone (cables area) of the carrier. But you can also create three additional locations to "GoTo" on the deck.
A special tool in the menu helps you configure the additional spots.

You can get it here: http://royalefrenchnavy.perso.sfr.fr/RFN-Creations.htm#Gau

CeesHI Cees,I figured out what was the problem, look in the Etendard manual under Carrier OPs,and there is is a section explaning that you have to turn on a knob to tac,and VH knob to to green light to make the LSO work, just read it it's in there, sorry for the trouble,I should have ****,again:playful:.Thanks for the answer thou.

I always approach without the LSO 'cause I get a bit nervous with someone yelling 'haut' and 'alignement'!

:biggrin-new:

The language is set to FR or US for each carrier in the xml file. Mind, having him shout "You're drifting right" all the time isn't much better.
