Does anyone have the AirEd utility specifically for CFS3? If so I would appreciate if someone would send me a copy of the file, just email me at Lhart13@cox.net. I have version 1.0.5.2 but it has several parameters that CFS3 doesn't have and it looks like it was designed primarily for a different flight sim. Not sure how I lost the original utility but it would not be the first time I have accidently deleted back up copies of something.

I never ran across AirEd for CFS3. If you find one post it.

I have a version of Air Ed installed - no idea if it is CFS3 specific. Will take a look when I get to the CFS computer. D

The latest version I have is 1.52. It dates to around 2000. This predates CFS3 but IIRC I've had no problem tweaking CFS3 air files with it. Its interesting having a read of the readme.txt and also the .ini file, a lot of help interpreting obscure parameters.

Hi Lewis,

any AirEd will work for CFS3 files. AirEd doesn't add the parameters, it just shows you the content of the .air file. a lot of CFS3 air files have sections that apply to FS etc but they are just ignored by CFS3.

I'm using 1.51.

Aired 1.51 was the last one I believe. It will read any of the airfiles. Bewarned. if you use air update and do a full dump you will have to put the entries back in order. other wise it will show up blank.

There's also AAM (https://ootb.wordpress.com/aam/) (Aircraft Air file Manager) which is also free.
