View Full Version : No response for FSPilotshop ticket?

I opened a support ticket with FS Pilotshop last week and still haven't received a response. The initial auto-reply states that they try to respond within one business day. I know they had a sale and holiday weekend so they may be busy, but it's been nearly a week at this point. Are they normally prompt about replaying to tickets?

I purchased the Milviz Red Bull P-38 since it was on sale. The FS Pilotshop product page states "for FSX or P3D," but it turns out it's only for P3D 1.4, not P3D v2. However, you can't tell this until you buy, open, and run the installer. I know they don't give refunds on software, but I'm hoping they'll make an exception here since the product page was lacking clarity. Especially given the latest version available from Milviz is P3D v2 compatible.

According to the Milviz blurb it is compatible with P3Dv2 Version: P3Dv2 which should include 2.4 and 2.5:

Agreed, and that is part of my issue. The installer that you get from FS Pilotshop is not the current version available from Milviz and is only compatible with FSX and P3D 1.4. But that is not indicated anywhere on the product page.

lol, that's basically saying it's compatible with FSX period since V1.4 is nothing more than a puffed up version of FSX. It was pre-everything as far as the current P3D is concerned. I purchased that same airplane several weeks ago now and glad I picked it up from MilViz or I'd probably be in the same boat.

Well you should have realized that the little delay might be due to their administration offices not open on weekends :) Businesses do need weekends :) And today is Monday when they go to work and presto you get refund:adoration:

Well, I opened my ticket on the 22nd. So... Presto! It was over a week.

Still not a big deal. But I am well aware of how weekends work.
