Well, it might not be appropriate for Frankfurt, but it surely is a nice change from the default vehicles.

Yes, these work like the default vehicles.

If some inquisitive personalities want to have a go at replacing airport vehicles with their own stuff:

The pushback tugs are located in Scenery\Global\vehicles_airport.bgl and can only be replaced globally, i.e. worldwide! Replacing the vehicles in the .bgl requires a bit of ModelConverterX magic*.

Baggage carts and whatever else drives around the airports are treated like AI models and can be installed into FSX\SimObjects\GroundVehicles. They are called by FSX per global region from the Lwcfg file**, so you'll only see your replacement models in a specific region (Europe British, Europe Russian, North America, etc...). The "<worldbase.containertitle>VEH_Air_RU_VZ4_URAL</worldbase.containertitle>" entries in the "<airport>" sections of each region reference the folder names of the ground vehicles in FSX\SimObjects\GroundVehicles (with the exception of the push back tugs, which are referenced by their GUID and can only be changed by the method described above). So changing the name of the refenced folder for the airport vehicle is all you have to do.

Might be of interest for the rustbucket (everything before the 1990s; me included) crowd who need better, period-accurate airport vehicles.

*Delete the LOD models of the default vehicle, then import the new model as a LOD model (which retains the original vehicle's GUID and FriendlyName) and save the vehicle library. It's actually as easy as it sounds.
**This file is where your fsx.cfg is and has to be decompiled with SPB2XML (http://lc0277.gratisim.fr/spb2xml2.zip). The resulting file can be edited with a regular text editor.

P.S:

The vehicles I've used are these:
