Was watching one of the classic Jacques Cousteau specials from the early 1970's. This particular episode about diving the Truk lagoon wrecks from WWII.
Anyways, at the 12:28 mark of the video, I was surprised to see a Continental 727 landing on a crushed coral runway at what I presume is a pre-concrete Chuuk International airport (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuuk_International_Airport).

It looks rather tenuous at best. At first I thought the jetliner was putting down on the sandy beach!
