Can anyone point me in the direction of a really idiot-proof tutorial on scenery construction, please? I don't want anything ambitious, just how to add a hangar and maybe a static a/c to an otherwise naked strip, where I don't even have to worry about flattening.

Thanks in advance.

Putting objects on a existing airport: Instant Scenery (payware Flight1)? just experiment which is half the fun. It's all self explanatory.
Some editing of the Afcad's? There are several free and payware scenery program's. See here: http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/

If you are using the Deluxe version of FSX you can use the Object Placement Tool that Microsoft provided. A tutorial for using it can be found here: http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=making_scenery_with_object_p lacement_tool.zip&CatID=root&Go=Search

Airport Design Editor is the tool to do this.

Thank you for the suggestions. Nothing has been sufficiently idiot-proof yet, but I will persevere. The shade of Leon Louis will, I hope, be managing a smile.
