Hi all,
My latest project is working on the FM for a Me 163 for CFS3. CFS3 does not support rocket engines, so I have set it up with a turbojet engine. Unfortunately, the turbojet doesn't behave quite like a rocket engine. I was wondering if there was a way to reduce some of the differences. Specifically, I want the engine to behave exactly the same at all altitudes and airspeeds. Currently, fuel consumption drops off considerably with altitude and N1 rpm varies with both airspeed and altitude. I am assuming total thrust is also behaving similarly to N1 as well, though I have no means of measuring this directly. I have looked through the .air file and experimented with the turbine related tables, but I haven't had any success so far. I am well out of my depth working with turbine stuff, so any help is much appreciated.
Daniel
