Here are two new paints depicting a BT-13 my dad flew and had posed for some photos with in 1943, and another Valiant that is a restored polished aluminum plane currently flying today who's owner I am friends with. This model was made by Chris Herring in 2011. Here are some views of the FSX paints - put a lot of detail on them. The res. is 4096 textures, 16x's bigger than the FS9 versions. With that much res. I used pictures of rivets and fasteners instead of making them graphically. With this size, I was able to place them all as they actually are (I expect to hear from rivet counters if I missed one!). There are other photo real details too. Took me 6 months to make these 10 textures, literally 100's of layers. Each rivet and screw were placed one at a time. I also included realistic tape lines on the fabric surfaces, not sure if that's been done before. Had fun doing these, hope you like them! The FSX file names are: </SPAN>CL_BT13_501_X and CL_BT13_G300_X. If you haven't got this model yet, go over to http://www.TopFlightSimulation.com and pick it up for only $14, cheap! Plus you'll help out a great guy who is a Marine veteran. He's had a bout with cancer lately, and I'm sure he could benefit from some sales. The first 4 screen shots oare of the bare metal version, will post 4 more of the blue & yellow vs. next.
