There's an old saying about aircrafts that if it looks good, it's flies good. That certainly goes for the Ki-27 and its successor Ki-43.

I did textures for both these models a looong time ago, but never was really happy with them. So here's two new packages for W.Faber's Ki-27 and Akemi's Ki-43.

The early Ki-43-1 had a very similar cockpit to the Ki-27 so I use the new panel for both. Akemi's Ki-43-1k was among his latest creations and the model reflects that. A superb job.

Morton,

I agree. These are outstanding! Many thanks...and sorry about not responding earlier. My new modem was on the fritz...but it turns out it may have been my fault. That will be confirmed if this connection holds through tomorrow morning. :applause:

Very nice to see new repaints for my first aircraft Ki 27. I think if I find the time beside my actual Vultee Vengeance project, I will give my Ki 27 a new Pilot figure.
This repaints are really looking very, very good! And the new 2D cockpit is awesome. Thank you for this!

Thanks Wolfi. Your pilot really isn't that bad? But I agree about the importance of a good pilot figure. It gives the model that extra real feeling. A lot of models would benefit from a more "human" crew.
