I brought this up a long time ago over at MAAM's forum at AVSIM but didn't get any replies :
Has anyone successfully installed Briefing Time 7th Edition into P3Dv2 ? (BT_FSX_v7.exe) . It functions very well in P3D v1.4. All texture variants showing up and gauges all function without a problem . I did use the Estonia Migration Tool (EMT) for v1.4 . Here is the strange thing when using P3Dv2 . I again used the EMT to load BT_FSX_v7.exe into V2 . As far as I can tell , everything gets installed into their proper folders (gauges into Gauge folder etc) and the AC shows up in the AC Selection Menu with all the texture variants but when I click on one of the textures to load the AC , I immediately get kicked to the desktop . I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and still get the same results . The 7th Edition was just a package that MAAM put out to make it a little more compatible and they included a ton of repaints with it . It still was a FSX portover and not native .

From what I've gathered searching across the net , it is probably a gauge/dll problem but no solution found yet .

Some one(?) was developing a native FS B-25 I know but have not heard anything for months about it either .

I think I'll try to partially answer my own question then you can drop this thread . I looked through several threads on the MAAM B-25 here at SOH and it seems to be one of those addons that probably may never work in P3D v2.2 . Also found this thread on possible Native B-25's :

This was dated June this year so maybe . I would be one happy camper for a native B-25 .:jump:

Vertigo B-25C model version is nice, but I like MAAM's J model gunships. Same as you I searched for answers.

What a beast... 12 forward guns!!!

I couldn't imagine what the fear factor must of been when you looked up and saw a B-25 Gunship on strafing run about ready to cut loose with those 12 guns . They were devastating on shipping and ground targets .

But you have to use all FSX fixes

It *displays* very well, sure. But nothing is clickable anymore, which means the aircraft is totally unusable for some of us.

I admit I didnt try the clicks-->but on some planes using the reflection in the display menu brings the clicks back
