It's been nice to see the Il-2 with a fresher, more accurate coat of paint in the last year (it sure didn't look near that nice when it arrived!). Great shot, John! I like that the pilot has got his eyes right on you.

John, That is in my estimation, one fine photograph. You nailed it. Exposure, focus, cropping. The clouds really add to the picture without taking away from the subject, the aircraft. If you haven't sent this to airliners.net, I recommend you do so.
