hi all...ive got my heli-kit on the way,but it doesnt have any buttons or switches or anything on the cyclic or collective heads,im going to mount my CH throttle quads next to me on a shelf, ill use my left hand to work the switches ect...

id like to ask which buttons/switches/on-offs i should use?.....and can anyone thing of any uses for the levers?...

for now im going to fly from running engines..but once i can hover and land without crashing..ill change to cold and dark starts..

any ideas welcome.

Doesn't have anything on the collective or cyclic? Strange....

Anyway....you could use your throttle quad levers in any of the following ways:

Fuel flow levers (cut-off levers)
Rotor brake
Landing Gear

For buttons:
Landing Lights
Engine starter
Rotor RPM Beep Switch
Governor Switch
Spotlight/Searchlight (hatswitch)

Just some ideas....

Very basic, generally after start with the mouse you should not need anything else, but that depends on the helo model you are trying to sim (collective based throttle or larger helo power levers).

Nice to haves on the cyclic: Trim/radio ptt/cargo hook release
On the collective: landing light/search light/floats/rotor inc-dec
