I just had a look at the link to Alabeo.
$28.95 ???
If I had known they were coming out with this, I probably would not have bought their C-172 RG. Can't see having two Cessna RG's. Will pass on this.

Actually the C177 project started out with only the fixed gear in mind. Like their other offerings, only one model per offering. Then later they decided to add the very popular R/G model in the same package. So you mow get two separate models with the second one only costing $6.00.

I do see your point, but for me the C177 is such a beautiful girl, both will grace my hanger even though I also have the C172 R/G

It must be my no script or something messing with the page then. Thanks for the heads up.

I wonder how many people on a limited budget had to decide on whether to get this or the A2A Piper Cherokee which was also released today?

I'm facing that dilemma as well. But if I wait until they show up over at Just Flight I already have about $12 in bonus bucks so will buy one. and then can use the points from that purchase to help off set the second buy. BTW, Just Flight is launching its new Chipmunk this week as well. What an interesting week:applause:

I was one of them......but I have been dying for a 177 for years. I will end up with the A2A bird also but...for now....I'm loving my 177

Is it possible to use the fixed gear textures in the retractable model?

I noticed there was a texture difference between the two.

I couldn't help it... I caved. :D

I've always loved the sleek lines of the 177.

Yep me too. I've purchased most of the Alabeo aircraft and really enjoy the Tomahawk, Staggerwing and Cessna 195. Somehow the Cardinal doesn't seem to fly as nicely as the others. Also, does anyone know of any repaints yet, for it?
