Hello People,
Can anyone point me to good US Phantom bases scenery please. I'm looking for good sceneries of the following bases:
- Holloman AFB
- George AFB
Or in Europe:
- Wittmund AB for JG71
- Ramstein AFB
- Bitburg AB
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm looking for a place for the C9 Phantom with the mods by TuFun and Hschuit!
Thanks in advance,
Dumonceau

A couple of years ago I made some basic FSX sceneries for German Phantom bases: Hopsten, Leck and Pferdsfeld:
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?56913-Hopsten-Air-Base-Germany-FSX-AFCAD
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?56773-Leck-Air-Base-Germany-for-FSX
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?56912-Pferdsfeld-Air-Base-Germany-FSX-AFCAD
And Wittmund by Ian Elliot:
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?54967-Wittmundhafen-V2
My sceneries require a.o. Ian's Wittmund scenery objects.
Do not expect many detailed objects, I mainly focused on getting the AFCADs right (layout aligned with Google earth).

Information:
Airbase Wittmund/Germany doesn't operate the F-4F anymore. They've got Eurofighters now.

I know that Dieter, but Phantoms have served in Wittmund longer than the EF's have!
Moreover, I'm a huge Richthofen fan!

The Navy Phantoms were based at NAS Oceana and NAS Miramar, with reserve outfits at NAS Alamitos, NAS Dallas, and Miramar. NC

NL2000 has a 1980 version of Soesterberg. I think in 1980 the Phantoms of 32tfs had just been replaced by the F15.

A lot operated out of the local airport like Duluth, Minnesota and Lincoln, Nebraska. others were hosted by the local AFB like McConnell AFB in Wichita Kansas or Tinker in OKC

Indiana's 181st TFG Phantoms operated out of a base in Terre Haute. NC

MAIW's FS9 MCAS Beaufort works great in FSX, as do most of their packs - Miramar, Oceana, etc. There are also great FSX native stations like Corpus Christi, et al.
