Saw this at Avsim, it's for FS9, but seems to work quite well in FSX...:ernae:

wow - that does look nice...

you didn't have to adjust any alphas or tweak the .cfg ?

what about FPS?

No, I just downloaded it, installed in FS9 anf FSX. I haven't tried it with clouds, but it will prolly have the usual issue(s)...:ernae:

I saw the Nemeth one over there - what is the file name for this one?

It's the freeware by Nemeth, just posted a little while ago, don't member the file name. BTW, fps is pretty good, I get 17.5 - 20+ in the Houston area, with most sliders maxed out...:monkies:

K - I'll find it - Thanks - I guess I just assumed all the Nemeth birds were payware and didn't read the blurbage

Just to clarify, the Nemeth MD500 series (D/E) are freeware. They have an upcoming FSX Littlebird, not sure how far along it is.

Now I have the source files for the MD500E sent to me by Peter. Anyone willing to convert to FSX please PM me:wave:

i just found fsx update files over at hovercontrol for the 500e and for some sort of blackops 500d

just tried it in fsx, normal cloud clipping with the rotors, frames are good, i read somewhere there are night lighting issues, looks like all the update files do are use default gauges.
