He hasn't been around for a while.... hasn't uploaded anything lately either. He's still in the "Members List" here so maybe he's just taking a long overdue hiatus.

I didn't realize he was working on that. . .shoot, lol. I don't know what happened with Tim, other than maybe he just got burned out. It's a shame really, but inevitable I guess given the tempo he was working in. He was producing some great aircraft at an incredible pace right before he left. It's been long enough now that I don't expect he'll be back. . .I wish he would, but I doubt it.

I think he became burned out and wanted to step away, as I e-mailed him a few times after he left. I think he rediscovered the real world. ;) Though I wish his XB-35 would have been completed as well.

We do really miss him. Not only for the great models he made but him being a part of our community

Where ever he is now, may God bless him.

Tim never had a problem with people asking for requests...

He would just say I don't do requests. :biggrin-new:

Tim did awesome work for FS9; his Ryan Navion was the airplane I 'learned' to fly in FS with. Gosh, there are so many: the AA-5 Tiger, the Boeing Model 221 Monomail, The Helio Super Courier, the OV-10/ CV-10 Bronco series... the list goes on!

I think he also had issues with Max 7 not working in Windows 7 or later: this is true, it doesn't. We're just grateful for all he did for the FS community and I hope he's enjoying whatever he's doing now.

By far the largest section in my Aircraft folder in FSX is Tim's A12A Avenger II .... would you believe...2096 files and 18.131 Gig.
OK, so I did a lot of skins for it...at 4096 res and 8.8.8 bitmaps....

....proves I like his stuff though....;)

I find myself still flying his planes quite often. I also used all of the cool spaceships, hovercraft, and trucks he made as well.
