what id like to know is,is there a direct way to type in a Lat/long INSIDE FSX,without having to use slew and just watch the text until you are where you want to be?

Sure is -- if your intent is just to relocate to somewhere else in the world. Use the map popup screen and enter your desired lat/lon into the top two spaces and hang on. Of coure you can use the same map to adjust speed, altitude, heading, et.al.

Also, I get easily bored while flying and often use the map to "speed up" the trip by grabbing the plane and moving it nearer the desired airport. I know it is cheating, but hey, it is my fantasy:biggrin-new:

edit: I forgot one important bit: You do need to have the target coordinates available LOL

Hi,
Just in case you're not aware of this:
With the Map displayed you can simply drag the aircraft wherever you'd like. By using the zoom settings the movement can be as gross or fine as desired. Entering the altitude, speed and heading puts the icing on the cake.
