Hi fellas, I've just joined this forum and this is my first post, as most of my time is spent over at Orbx or Avsim. I've been an avid fan of the good old DC3 for many years and have just installed Manfred's C47 offering, which I haven't stopped flying! She is an absolute gem. I have also installed the replacement VC's and also the twin radial replacement soundset. However, while the sound set is a great improvement I find that that the external engine sounds are extremely low. For some reason, which remains a mystery to me, I find I am unable to alter the sounds in the FSX control panel to alleviate this issue. I find it not possible to alter them in relation to each other ie, engine, cockpit and environment sounds. I was hoping someone could offer some advice or whether there's a way of changing the volumes in the cfg or somewhere, as I've tried but with little success. Help, as always, appreciated, cheers.

TuFun,

Is this application only for the DC3? If not, what exactly does it do? Thanks. Pete

Hey Chief... it replaces the sound.cfg file in the sound.TW sound set. I tried to balance the sound somewhat so that the internal sounds are lower. Some that use headphones required the internal sounds lowered.

Just make a backup of the original sound.cfg file and replace with new one I linked to.
