Not without the source code; looks like all the poly's have had their normals flipped. I've had this happen to me in FSDS when the project gets large. Otherwise it could be a texture transparency issue.

You could try adding HIGHMEMFIX=1 to your fsx.cfg [GRAPHICS] section.
It is supposed to prevent this.

Nick.

Is it possible that the plane requires SP2 and you don't have it, or Acceleration, installed?

cheers,
Lane

Do you have DX10 preview mode turned on?

If so turn it off.

Since that looks as if it's my Me-262a, the usual cause of that problem is using FSX without SP1/SP2 or Acceleration. Both of these modify the standard FSX.cfg to accept larger textures, otherwise you're stuck with 1024x1024. The Me-262a uses 2048x2048 on those parts that are invisible in your screenshot.

When FSX can't use a texture, any part that uses that texture is not rendered and becomes invisible.

Are you using Acceleration? If you are, try doing as DangerousDave26 says, turning off DX10, too.

Mike

I can't help making a further question to this thread.

I have FSX Gold i.e. all "candies". However some of my very old (FS2004 times) AI planes show up crippled in FSX like in the picture above. It isn't a LOD problem because this is the situation also from very short distance. It would be nice to know the reason to this too - if someone knows. Thanks.

Pekka

Edit: I forgot to mention that in FS2004 thouse worked ok. So it isn't a lacking texture problem (however might be something to do with the textures). Those AI planes may be from FS2002. I am not sure.

Hi Trucker17,

Is it just the one aircraft you're having problems with?

If so, it could be missing textures.

Regards, Dave.
