..a little freeware offering.

You may remember that a while ago I said I was working on this. Taken a bit longer than planned, but here it is - the MinMax ultralight. Uses Bill Lyon's excellent Rotax sounds. And it's free!

Always liked the design of this aircraft, great for the low-and-slow crowd, but nimble too. The real aircraft come is many models and variations (including enclosed cockpit), but I thought this one was one of the nicest-looking variants. Might want to fly it in warmer climates, though.:d

Just have a couple more small things to do, such as the Readme, and then it'll be uploaded here sometime early this week. I'll make an announcement when it's available.

It's available now at Avsim. Look for fr_minimax.zip. I haven't been able to upload here are SOH, as there seems to be a glitch somehere, it keeps asking me to log in when I already have. Admins have been alerted.

However, this turns out to be a bonus for SOH members, as I had a couple of minutes to fool around with the materials this afternoon, and came up with something I like better - so the SOH library (whenever it finally gets up there) will have a slightly different (and I think, better) version than Avsim. :)

Changes are small compared to the Avsim one, but I think it has a better and more realistic reflectivity for a fabric and fiberglass aircraft, after being out in the real world for a while. :)
