Heard this today. I know people here have opinions on what aircraft works for what situation. I figure if these can be had for cheap they might be a good mid-size?

yeah the C-27s are going to the USCG,and the USCG will give 7 C-130Hs to the usfs,they will be tanked with an internal tank,with gravity feed same as the Coulston C-130Q,if you havent seen this plane....its nice looking as planes go...and they used a wrap rather than paint.

also...just not that long ago there were 44 large airtankers nationwide..now there will be about 14 for next summer.
