Bump:
I'm uploading all of the Manfred Jahn approved C-117 and C-47 skins and paint kit files to this site now. The Dak and Skytrooper will follow once all of the support files are successfully loaded on this site. My internet is feisty...hopefully I can get this done in one op.

Feel free to download my skins and PK and get the decks cleared for launch. Here she comes gents...and ladies.

Done deal...they're all loaded successfully and in the usual place. FSX Addons/Skins/sort date descending.

MJ has been notified and is ready to post up as soon as he gets my HU.

Pending approval from this site and you are good to go.

Edit: She's approved and ready to download.
The DAK is here:http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?linkid=17617&catid=34

Thanks JK ...... downloaded the ones I want. Just waiting for the Air Canada one to arrive then I will be satisfied for now. Got the paintkit and may even reconsider my retirement from producing repaints. I do have a couple in mind but if someone produces them before I do then so be it :mixedsmi:.

I'm looking for the alternative (worn) vc textures mentioned in Manfred's readme: For Gordon "Gman" Madison's alternate VC texture sets download VCtextures_C47.zip
I can't locate it here or with a google search.

I'm curious to know if the worn VC textures can be used in the Basler BT67. I understand that the checklists/manuals are plane specific, but I can live with the wrong paperwork if I can use those textures :)
Possibly someone on the team, (gman?) could modify a set for the Basler?? Pretty please :)
Thank you for the incredible work you've done on the C-47 project!

EDIT: I just realized the gauges are for the turbo, so my question is, can someone modify the VC of the Basler to have the same worn look as the C-47?
Thanx :)

Thanks again to Gman, Manfred and Tufun for this wonderful gift.

If any 'artistes' are looking for inspiration, I'd hope I'm not the only one interested in early schemes for BEA and Northwest . . .

Would really love to see this done as I saw many of these fly over my house and into Lambert field in St. Louis as a young man.
I believe this was really bare metal(not grey) except for the green and white sections.

Thanks for considering,

this paint is available on OZX (http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/files/file/4219-manfred-jahns-douglas-c-47-v2-assam-air-lines/).

Also, it turns out there was an error with the spec files of this paint:
http://i722.photobucket.com/albums/ww230/jcblom60/C-47/ss8006.jpg (http://s722.photobucket.com/user/jcblom60/media/C-47/ss8006.jpg.html)

I've uploaded a new version which should solve that problem, just download it again here (http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/files/file/4189-manfred-jahns-douglas-c-47-v2-vh-edc-bush-pilots/).

Happy flying, JanKees.
