lemme guess.....Top Gun School NAS MIRAMAR - yes? No, as the title says, Tonopah. It's where the 4477th was based. They're the ones who flew the MiGs in Redflag. It's also where the F-117A's were based when they were still classified top secret.

i have a friend who flew F117s ( in combat too) ,but when he was training,he used to go from a base in AZ ( dont recall the name) to a second base in new mexico...and then board a third 737 and fly to tonopah to fly and work on the F117.
