Great freeware model:ernae: but it's a little heavy on frame rate on my system.

That's my friend Dirk. He also has a great website: http://www.flight-team-bremerhaven.de/

Haven't flown with them for a while, but they are a fun group. NC

She is very FPS heavy. Both models are almost 15 mb's each! About 800 000 polycount but you can hardly notice that. I have mixed feelings.

A lot of draw calls and i think there is a texture in the VC missing.
But she is very detailed and great to fly over fps friendly areas.
I flew her yesterday only over photo sceneries and had no performance problems.

Could somebody post a VC photo please?

Nails my FPS....rats. Nice exterior model though. The inside is too dark, the green-tinted windscreen is very dark and the VC is also dark. Here's a live, un-paused VC shot in daylight...notice how dark things are :(

It has been my pleasure to help in the beta testing of this helo. It is a little rough on my frames @ times, but I must consider all the detail and animations included in the model. That, and the fact I'm on a mid range dual core machine. It is a lot of fun to fly, very responsive and the weapons system is a nice effect. I encourage you to download it and try it for yourself if you haven't already. A great deal of time was spent in effort to produce this package and and I'm sure all feedback (positive and constructive criticism) will be appreciated!:typing:
