I recently visited my Dad and he gave me his antique oil lamp. He had it since around 1920/30's. The original lamp shade broke when he accidently knocked it over and broke the shade.
I am looking for a replacement lamp shade that would match as close as possible to the pattern of the base. The base of the shade is 10 inches. If anyone knows or has something they
think would match the base please sent me a PM with a Picture and any info on it. I appreciate any help on this. As a alternative, I would be interested in something white as I
know an art teacher that could paint the flower pattern on the shade. I've googled all kinds of oil lamp shades and there are some nice ones but they are really expensive.
I know this is an unusual request for SOH here but I figured maybe I can reach someone here that can help. Thanks for your time.

EDIT: I have assembled all lamp components and posting new picture of what it looks like assembled. I am interested in a different oil lamp shade that perhaps will complement the rest of it
with a matching shade with some of the blue/green color with or without a floral print that matched the base.

That's kind of an odd & big size for an oil lamp. I grew up with them and don't think I've ever seen one that wide at the bottom.

Actually it needs a standard chimney, that will fit on the inside ring around the wick, then an outer shade.

Take a look at this lamp (it's been turned into electric but you'll see what you need)...http://www.theantiquetraders.com/wp-content/uploads/tiffany-oil-lamp.jpg

This appears to be a good place for both...http://www.brewsterstore.com/store/products/2,13_glass_shades/page/1/

Actually I have the chimney, I just didn't mount it on the lamp.

Another sight you might want to check out is the Aladdin Oil Lamp Co. Here's the link strictly for their various shades:

Let me ask: Are you sure you want a flower/floral design painted on the shade since there's already a painted rose on the base? I think just leaving the shade just plain white would compliment the all over oil lamp without looking too 'busy.'
