I bought new renderer software to complement the various projects and technologies I am using. Always fun to play with this stuff...... but mind you, it is easy to loose time on playing instead of 'working' :icon_lol:90790907919079290793

Nice! What renderer is it? You can get a plugin for Luxrender for Sketchup for free. it is a really powerful non biased render.

Hi Michael, yes I have free renderers for Sketchup too. But this package does a few things more and come in quite handy for my little business AND it does good renders for a number of formats. It is called BoxShot 4 ( http://boxshot.com/boxshot/ )

Hi Francoise

Small Suggestion

Could you think to try that building in your next Play with renderer session?

Hah ! The rendering is easy...... it is the 3D modeling that takes up the time...... I am just learning again and took up the bunkers as an 'easy' way of getting started (again). :-)

I made this last year (unfinished).....90795

Hi Francois,

interesting, that renderer! I'll also give that a try just for fun.

You're making a good progress, congrats!

Cheers,
Mark

Thanks for the link, I'll have to check it out. I do lots of hobby and commercial digital art, CGI, and Fan art using many different renderers. I have used Vray, Mental Ray, 3Delight, Firefly, Maxwell and a few others. My main workflow now is with Luxrender (free) and Octane (pricey). i have a small gallery on Deviantart for none commercial images, most of it R rated though, LOL.

Here's a test image for a product I helped test (all mesh, no photoshop)

That's my goal. But planning it almost takes as long as the real operation planning took, and actually building it will take longer than the real preparations took :icon_lol:

PUBLISH----PUBLISH.......:jump:
Looks awesome......
Almost like the building my grandfather had for his air charter business....In back was his hanger for the Goose, and in front was the office, everything between the office and the hanger was his home....
A place I loved to spend my summers at......
A small 4 family airfield next to the ocean, Very cool watching the boats run up and down the coast and seeing the planes and Helis come and go for their trips north to Alaska or the Northwest territories.....
He retired when the building burnt to the ground, the plane was safe, but it was starting to have mechanical troubles, and was parked from then on.....
