Al,

Dave the P-40 of the USAAF started operations in Guadalcanal in December 1942.They did escort, ground attack, ship attacks and some intercepts. One of the biggest intercepts they were in was on July 15,1943 along with P-38's and Corsairs intercepting over 60 Japanese bombers and fighters in the area of Vella Lavella.

The plane in the pics is by Sopwith C and is an F model which had the Parkard Merlin engine. It flies very well.
They also flew the K and M models.

I just have a couple of missions for it and some for the P-38.Right now I'm in the middle of another project which I hope to finish the first part in a week or 2.I know Rami will enjoy it because we've been talking about it for along time.:icon_lol: The second part of it I still have to do some GSL work.
