Anyone convert this one yet?
I'm having a problem getting the Virtual cockpit to show and was wondering if another panel configure exists for it?

I haven't tried my hand at converting it, but then again I have been very happy with KM's P-40s.

That first pic looks like a fine VC shot to me, with gauges and all...what's the problem?

I can't get the plane to work period, so I threw it out... does anyone have the link to her so maybe I can give her another shot? :help:

Yeah, after I got off the compute I was thinking I didnt present my case very well..
The 3d cockpit shown is the one that comes with the ship but none of the gauges work and I cant get any cfs2 gauges to show, obviously my knowledge of the subject of panel mod/design is badly lacking and was wondering if a panel master might of already tweaked one up. heres what I've got so far..

I've used a 2d cp, but I cant remember who created it for the life of me but it's the best 2d for the P-40 to date, IMO.

Thanks for the look over.

The VC gauges are part of the model - you cannot convert them and make them work... just FYI

Dat would explain dat...Hmmm..anyway of converting the gauges in the mdl file? :kilroy:

Ged, Emath is right...don't know if you're working with a conversion of the F model demo or the full version, but if you refer to the manual it states that this model was designed from the ground up to be flown only in VC mode. And in keeping with this the active gauges are literally built into the mdl file. If you hex the mdl you can see them. But with some extensive scasm work one can disable the mdl's gauge anima, rebuild the dynamic VC components and allow for a dynamic VC with addon gauges in addition to a 2D panel. You might want to pass on this...back to KM, right? :amen:

Err...Ahhh...Say wut?? Just kidding, it looks like a huge learning curve increase is the only solution, so I'll just fly her as she is...

Oh yeah it's the whole series from the "E" through to the the "N" but I was a little disappointed that there was no "K" still very nice modeling of the others.

Thanks Bearcat.
