Hello all,
Today, I've released my long announced Driessen D-III Flying Wing for FS 2004.
This largely unknown Flying Wing was the winning contender in a late 1939 competition for a possible K.L.M.long range passenger/mail aircraft.
The aircraft had three 870 hp Junkers Jumo 205 with three-bladed, metal propellers.
Dimensions: Length: 15 m, Wingspan: 34 m, Height: 3.70 m
Due to WWII, this design never reached the hardware stadium.

Hereby, I have to thank Günter Kirschstein, who intensively revised the flight dynamics.

The FSX + Acceleration version will be released asap
Happy Flyings

Whoo Hoo! Thanks for the effort in building this long forgotten flying machine. I look forward to exploring The Friesian Islands and around the Baltic Sea in it. Perhaps a flight to visit the Scandinavian countries is also in order.

Good idea. It wasn't really planned, actually. But maybe for later

Thank you for your flying wing!!! I like the sounds; will likely mod the sound file for Hauke Keitel's Do-26 which also used Jumo 205's. :applause::applause::ernae:
As for military applications it would be pretty limited given the way the Jumo 205 was not a good military engine (didn't respond too well to sudden throttle changes for starters) but I could see it as an early 'Amerika-Bomber' for nuisance raids on NYC.
Wow that thing's got WINGS!!!
