I may have missed the announcement, but apparently Bill (Lionheart) is making a Pipistrel Panthera.

that would be wonderful. I saw this plane on the internet a few weeks ago and it is very interesting. But I don't see anything on the Lionheart facebook page about it...

Hey guys,

The mesh is still in progress, nearing completion, then she gets paint. I dont have it yet. I look forward to finishing that one. What a beauty...

Bill, were the windows cut following the fuse paint? I can see the windows follow the paint and not the window contours. Enlighten me mate :) But looking awesome anyway. Jose.

Boy, that thing's so slick it looks like to need a shoehorn and a pound of Crisco to get into it!

somewhere I saw a video on the internet where the company was talking about all of the innovative features they had designed into the plane. It was a very interesting video. One of the features was the plane is designed to hopefully fly again even if the parachute is deployed. They indicated that many planes are not easily restored to flight condition if the parachute is used. but because of the angle of attack the plane "lands" under the chute, it should survive with minor damage.... anyway it was interesting.
