Setting up my CFS3 Archive for all

I have been sorting out my many CD's from the past..
looking for a few things..

I have sorted out from 2002 to 2004 from developers and sites..
Netwings, and Flightsim, and the Ground crew and Italian sites..Etc..
And several sites that were small by done individuals now gone....

I have 122 AV Aircraft, early files and aircraft sorted with the original uploads by this Group..
Unchanged from day one..
Many I had forgotten about, 6 Beaufighters, 11 Spitfires, 6 Fw 190's
Too many to list here..

I am making a text document listing the AV files..
I Have Thousands of files to sort needless to say..It will take time..

I am willing to share all of this with the brave souls who are rebuilding the SOH CFS3 archives..
Once I have 10+ years of downloads sorted I will have text files listing all of this by Alphabetical and date of download..
Onward and upward..

I have OVER 1000 CD's to look at..:icon_eek:

They are dated when I burnt them..
If your wondering, I wasn't online for several years..
So my dear sister once/twice a week would allow me to use her computer to search and download CFS3 stuff.
I would Burn it to a CD and bring it Home then load it..
Now I have a pile of these ..LOL!!

I have searched and sorted for 2002-2004
Starting with the AV Aircraft..
Now Have all of the early AV files for these in One Folder

And have several independent Authors files sorted too( Nanni, MW, etc..)

Many of these items are very dated, and many have been used in the various expansions over the years..
Upgraded and improved..
Much of this is still available like Nanni Ghost Files site..And Martin Wright's..
Some are not Like the AV and Phillip M site..

I have found many of your early files, the British gas truck, Tigermoth static, a nice Hurricane..

Just need a purple Hurricane with pretty Pink polka dots, near perfect then..

That's remarkable Owen you are certainly a very dedicated person it sounds like a job for life, that is really dedeication. My CD collection is only a patch on what you have got.
If there is a file that you can't find Owen I'll only be too glad to help if I can.

Here is a idea what I am doing, each of these are separated by year, all the cases have two CD's in them..
This is from 2002 -2009 discs only for CFS3
Lots to sort and organize needless to say..
When I am finished I hope to have it all sorted By year and alphabetical order for upload as needed and then transferred to DVD's for final storage..
setting up this is a job I have put off for too long, so now it the time..
Yes it will take time but like all Hobbits I am determined..

Thanks, I am willing to share all or part of this to anyone who may want or need any of this..
I am slowly getting it sorted by Aircraft, Vehicles, ships, Facilities(Scenery) pretty much the same categories as SOH..
All of this first set will be from 2002-2004
