Hi All,

If I wanted to try and make my own engine soundset how would i go about it? Is there any program I need and how easy (if at All) is it?

Regards

I was again interested in the same subject and for more details a few weeks back and ran across this which explained a good bit in detail:

I would also suggest studying the structure of the sound files that other have made to help learn how to build the structure of the sound cfg files. Also for the sound folder, you probably already know you have to have WAV files which are the actual sounds, while the writing up of the sound cfg files manipulate the WAV files.

Note:
I am no expert at making sounds but I have tried my hand at modifying others sound files to try to tweak sounds in sound folder sets, mainly as a way to try to get that right sound out of them that suites my ears, and partly as a peck and learn way to try to understand how it all works.

Hope this helps you to a degree.
