RJ,
have you checked the sound file, you may have deleted a plane that it may be aliased to ??

I DO THINK ITS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE FILE NAMES.

FILE NAMES

Folder name Sopwith_1«_Strutter_(2_Seat)
virMEC Document ( AKA mdl) Sopwith_Strutter_2_Seat

[models]
normal=Sopwith_Strutter_2_Seat

[fltsim.0]
title=Sopwith 1½ Strutter (2 Seat)
sim=Sopwith_1½_Strutter_(2_Seat)
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=
KB_checklists=Sopwith_1½_Strutter_(2_Seat)_check

Sopwith_1«_Strutter_(2_Seat).air
Sopwith_1«_Strutter_(2_Seat).DP

Sopwith_1½_Strutter_(2_Seat) looks right.

"Sopwith_1«_Strutter_(2_Seat)" is that correct?

I just redownloaded it and everything worked fine on mine. I removed my previous version just to make sure.

other than what i pointed out i have no idea. are you at your 100 plane limit?

make sure that the mdl name is the same for all of them.

Sopwith_1«_Strutter_(2_Seat).DP

Somthing is messing up the names.

All of them should be Sopwith_1½_Strutter_*type* but for the model.

Your system is change ½ to « . Replace the « with ½.

The 2 seat should be

Sopwith_1½_Strutter_(2_Seat).air
Sopwith_1½_Strutter_(2_Seat).dp

The bomber should be.

Sopwith_1½_Strutter_(Bomber).air
Sopwith_1½_Strutter_(Bomber).dp

and the 1 seat "Comic"

Sopwith_1½_Strutter_(1_Seat).air
Sopwith_1½_Strutter_(1_Seat).dp

When I uploaded them I make sure they uploaded right by downloading them my self.

I justed re-downloaded the Sopwith 1½ Strutter (2 Seat) http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?catid=124&linkid=15070 and it is fine. What system are you using or browser did you use to download them?

Allen,
I have been using WinZip with extract to folder option and it was this that caused the problem with the file names.
My 11 year old Son showed me Open with Compressed (zipped folders) Folders and this works.
Now I have to open DP'S to find what weapons etc I need. Can you upload this information for everyone.
Many Thanks.
Robert John.

Hey RJ,

Before you go any further.

Install Aerocrate's wwi 1916 scenery and missions. fallow the instructions for a new install. it will have the weapons , sound and everything else. also get the aircraft.

if you want you can add my scenery. i have instructions and suggested addons. its up to you what you want to add.

Since your going to be on the western front, you might as well dig in.:icon_lol:

Your going to have to ask Blood_Hawk23 about the bombs. I didn't do the programing for them or even have them.
