Surprice!

Not only An-2 from Aerosoft but SibWings (Birddog, Pitts) started to do model of An-2.

Looks like two seperate products; I think I will pick up one, but will check prices etc. before making a choice. Both look great, Sibwing does excellent aircraft, and the Aerosoft bird is done by the guy that did the Hughes, Catalina and Bronco... Though choice ahead!

Slight edit, the AN-2 is from the PZL Wigla crew (Octopus Group)

You are right; I was reading the Aerosoft forums and saw Stefan's name mentioned by Matthijs so I thought he was involved. :)

Well, in that case its going to be a tough choice.

I would bat for Sibwings based on their Bird dog and SAAB - but for the arcane hard code licencing system they use - while ok while they are in business - what happens if they go belly up? You loose your investment if you have a crash and need to re-install. (see my avsim topic on Sky Simulations and their DC9 reinstallation )

They have a gentleman´s promise, if they fall they´ll give them freeware. I fly their Safir as well.

I wasn't aware there was demand for one of these, let alone two. Guess I'll see what they look like when released... :wiggle:
