I just downloaded and installed Jens' new DC-6 for FSX, I have SP2 and let the DC-6 installer install SP2 support. I loaded up the DC-6 and found what appears to be either a transparent engine texture or missing texture.

Yup...Looks like she's mising some textures for the engines...

I just flew the FS9 version and I'll say this....She needs full throttles with flaps down to land........

I have fsx acceleration and it flys and lands beautifully for me. I hadn't noticed the engine texture issue but swapped out the prop_blurred.dds file with an fsx fix for the alpha B-25 props and am very satisfied with the results for the prop and the aircraft in general.

That's how I've got things to work properly...
The missing texture is called "cyl_16", I've found it within Jen's DC-4 folders.
My FSX "fallback" system doesn't like repaints inside the "texture" folder, so I've renamed that one as "texture.sas".

That's the missing one! Thanks, it works as a bit map or flipped vertically and saved as a .dds file. :woot:
