Really enjoying Steve's Canberras at the moment. Nice looking models, good flt handling and special effects on ground an in air - at bargain basement prices! Thank you Steve.

Would really like to experience the 'GT' version of the Canberra ie the PR.Mk9.

Anyone in the know as to Steve's future plans in the Canberra area?

Have posted a request on Flying Stations forum, but thought I would ask around the venerable and venerated members here as you all seem to have so many fingers in so many pies.

There's an older PR.9 here: http://www.nazcastudios.com/ Which is still a pretty good model.

Thanks for the info Ferry vO, I will check it out. Was hoping for a new one! Also the amazing hi-alt bird flown by NASA.

Tim 'Piglet' Conrad did the Nasa birds; look for rb57_pak.zip at Flightsim.com.

Thanks all. I note that Steve has it on the back-burner at least.

Hello Mal,

thanks WH for pointing Mal in the right direction. Sadly yes, I have to confirm that a PR.9 and othe rfighter canopy versions are very much on the backburner. I do want to do them, trust me, just that I have not had as much time in life of late for modelling. I am however working on a new Hawker Sea Hawk which was always next on the list. Once that is complete I will most likely return to the Canberra.

If you want to fly a PR.9 now though, I would download Paul Fosters superb models and marry them with my FDEs - just remember to change your thrust to 11,250 lb engines and up the wing area. You'll up at 60,000ft plus in no time :)

Best regards,

Steve

Evening all,

after eons of silence I thought I'd drop by to let you know I've uploaded two new paints over on our web site for the B.2:

http://www.flyingstations.com/repaints-can-b2.html

They are WK162 and WH640, both from 245 Sqn based at RAF Tangmere. The Flying Stations Canberra B.2 will now also be featured at the Tangmere Aviation Museum in their 'Red' Flight Simulators:

http://www.tangmere-museum.org.uk/flight-simulators/red-flight-simulators

Pretty cool news eh? Wish I was on the other side of the Pond to go an give it a whirl. If you are in the area, check it out :)

ATB,

Steve

Hey Steve,

Thanks for the new paints for the B.2, mate. One thing about your paints for the Canberra, they all are accurate representations of the real deal. AND, they are all very nicely executed.
