Our in house modeling guru, Milton Shupe, has offered to make a CFS 2 version of his current project, the Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon. It's a team project over on the FS 9 forum and it is absolutely stunning.

You can check it out here:

Jagd,

Thanks for the update! This will be a nice "catch" for CFS2. :jump:

I would be happy to make the basic mods to improve its transportability and use to/by CFS. However, I would like someone here with gmax skills to do LOD's for the model if possible. I have asked tobob (who is doing a great job with eth Avia 51 SCW version) but will entertain anyone with the gmax skills who has the interest.

And that offer is good for any of my aircraft. :wiggle:

"tobob" has volunteered to convert the aircraft after developing the LOD models for it. That is a lot of work so ... hats off to "tobob". :-)

The gmax source will not be available for another few weeks but he is plenty busy now anyway.

Its looks beautiful! Thanks Milton and team and thanks for the heads up Jagd!

I took this very grainy image of a PV-2 parked on the east side of the runway while driving by the Heber Valley Airport, Heber City, Utah (Rt 189) back in 2008 around Thanksgiving.

Couldn't believe my eyes.

Thanks again, Milton!

The last time I looked, it was still there. I'll have to look again next time I go to Heber.
