Say...are you modeling the VW engine as the platform of choice, or perhaps some other motor? I know some folks have used the O-200 in these, and was curious if you would lean that way?

Keep us posted!

Always thought the Starlet was a nifty little ship ever since seeing a pic of one in Budd Davisson's tome on sport aviation years ago. Any chance for a New Zealand bird or two?

A little update, I've finished applying textures now and going to lay some more paint on.... ZK-TOY is on the list ;)

The engine is based on a VW aeroengine, I'm not great at Flight Dynamics.... still some things to tweak.

Basic white paint kit.

At the click of a button you can remove the canopy !

Excellent work yet again, Craig! I love these smaller aircraft (of which you pour such great detail into) that are capable of getting in and out of the small grass fields that are so much fun to use in FS. I've just begun to finally get some good experience on your Dart Kitten, and it is absolutely superb! Great fun to fly at locations like Old Warden and Masterton, NZ.

Downloaded and first flight done.

:applause:Thanks a lot for a great addon!:applause:

The default envmap makes it to shiny and the canopy reflections are a bit strange, gonna test bananabobs envmap.
It's a bit hard to land, theres no flaps and it won't sideslip, a fsx feature i know...

Just brilliant Craig. I've been flying all around my home airport and even got energized to complete the scenery for KGYI and then add the cross town airport KSWI so I can shoot touch n' go's between the two. Fun little airplane. Thanks again for making this available.:applause:

I am getting CTD's with this plane...not sure why yet though.

There was a problem with Prepar3d 1.3 but they fixed it in 1.4, or are you using FSX ? there shouldn't be any CTD as I haven't used any 2d gauges.

Beautiful screens everyone !

Next will be a big biplane.....

I Watched youtube video of the real thing last night... nothing slow and easy about it. For a small plane, it seemed all get up and go. Travelling now, but cant wait to try it.

Sorry to bring up a old thread (not really) - is there a decent soundset for this aircraft anywhere?

I use this one by Don Putnam: http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?searchid=49316860 - it's for a Volkswagen engine and I think it suits the Starlet nicely.
