i am trying to fix the fuel flow on bernt stolle's edit corenado's Cessna 185F it fuel burn is to low according to what the manual i have says.. is there a way to fix this?

also why is manifold pressure 27.7 in/mg at full throttle when the outside pressure is ~29.92 i know the charts show full throttle of around 28.8 in/mg as max

thank you

Look for the "Fuel_Flow_Scalar" in the aircraft.cfg

Make back-ups first!

Then change that number, increase it by .1 or so to start with.

can i add the fuel flow scailer? or is that some place else in the cfg? is there any other things i can add to more dile this thing in?

Hi,

It's not under "Piston Engine"...

It's under this: (just an example)

[GeneralEngineData]
engine_type = 0
Engine.0 = -7.300, 0.000, 0.500
fuel_flow_scalar = 1.650
min_throttle_limit = 0.200000

i was able to find it, it was at .7 and i bumped it upto 1.0 and its now running 24.1gph at take off at SL and runs 15.3gph at about 75% power in cruse setting and the chart shows 25.25gph at take off at SL and 15.25gph at 75% power in cruse setting it also lines up aprox with the fuel flow lines on the gage for various altitudes

Ryan

thank you guys for the help
