Hi all
i had d/l mksystem's mk_me262b-1a_u1, ( German planes page 3)and when i installed i noticed that "aircraft.cfg" was missing. I borrowed from another me 262, made some changes to fit dp -air files and textures but i cant see the plane at ff screen. I remembered that panel and sound folders if missing or are for fs9 planes create that issue,i borrowed panel and sound -rechecked but all others seems to be ok

Any ideas?

cheers:salute:

Nik112,

The aircraft.cfg files are located in the texture folders. They are named based on whichever textures you wish to use. So, use the aircraft.cfg from the texture folder that you wish, making sure you move it to the main folder of that aircraft.

Thanks Rami
i haven't noticed that. Anyway i replaced the "old-borrowed" cfg with that from tex folder,but still i can't fly. Had you tried it ? I think that's a model problem because at least the plane would showed even with "white" shape.

thanks

I ran into the same problem nik but this is what I did to fix it. I changed the Acft Cfg. file to read as this

[fltsim.0]
title=ME262B-A1/U1 "Blue 8"
sim=ME262B-1A_U1
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=1
KB_checklists=

[fltsim.1]
title=ME262B-A1/U1 "Red 8"
sim=ME262B-1A_U1
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=2
KB_checklists=

Then I renamed the Blue Texture folder .1 and the Red Texture folder .2 She shows up now and fly's well!! Hope this helps! :)
