While waiting for news of Classics Hangars next plane - will it be a Me110 or this mystery plane ? (just posted this week this picture - so hot off the press news)

I wonder how many have seen this old WIP - circa 2009 VC that Mathias posted on their forums.

Already perfect !!

Which do you guys think it is - The Mystery Plane - I mean?

I am picking Fw190d because the wings seem less pointy. Mathias indicated it wasn't a Messerschmitt and it was the next incarnation of Germany's top line fighter so others were guessing on the photo forum (here) it was one of these 2.

Ta 152 or Focke wulf fw190D ?

Wow yeah, the WOP long nose series was one of my favorites too...particularly the TA-152H. Maybe if the Germany advances to the Cup final Mathias will give some more hints:icon_lol::icon29:

My goodness man.... They had fly by wire... Those huge prop fins were made of wood and worked perfect at 30,000 feet. Do you realize how advanced that thing is???

Scary....

They were making subsonic flying wings and fly-by-wire fighters in WWII out of WOOD!!! Freaks me out still today, decades into the future.

looks like a late version 109 to me!

Mathias did say he was doing a 110 after the 108 though :jump:

Well one things is sure, it isn't this one. With current standards and expectations it would most probably be far too complex to build an authentic Bf110G-4.

As you know I always had a soft spot for the nightwar history and the Bf110 nightfighters esspecially.
The problem is that it doesn't attract too many users so a standalone version would be out of question.
What I could think of would be offering the nightfighters as an expansion to the Zerstörer at a later date.

@p38man: That Bf110E panel render dates back to 2005/2006 actually.
This was my testbed and starting point to develope the basic technics for my Luftwaffe gauge collection. :salute:

Are yes , ZERSTORER GRUPPE LG-1 to NJG3 ... Any BF/ME110 variants would be well received :cool:<input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input jscode="leoInternalChangeDone()" onclick="if(typeof(jsCall)=='function'){jsCall();}else{setT imeout('jsCall()',500);}" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">

Mathias, I was more think about all the extra gauges (working or nor) for the radar installation etc. I don't think a single model would justify all that work, no matter with how many liveries it comes.

Huub

I imagine a FW-190D would be a logical next step since it shares so many common components with the earlier 190s. A CH FW-190D or TA-152H would really be awesome. :salute::mixedsmi:

I seem to remember many moons ago, a mention about an FW-190D that was to be team-up of sorts between Classic Hangars and another developer...it was
in a mention in a thread when the CH FW-190A series had been recently released....

An FW-190D by CH would be a welcome addition to the hangar indeed!
