Hi All

Can you take apart .bgl files that make up scenery ....eg Extract the Hangers that are part of the BGL to use in a scenery program?

I'd like to update a scenery to 2012 as it was created in 2005 and cant get hold of the original author to see if he has the BGL files still

Ill be using the scenery for personal use only not public so wont be taking any credit

Thanks
Matt :salute:

Scenery objects from most FS9 and FSX library BGL's can be extracted with ModelConverterX (freeware by Arno Gerretsen)
For older FS9 object BGL's try Library Object Viewer (freeware by Jon Masterson)

With ModelConverterX you can also convert FS9 objects to FSX (needs the FSX SDK installed)

Another must have tool to compile objects into a new library BGL: Library Creator XML (freeware by Arno Gerretsen)
