Received mine today!

Just beautiful as all the other aircrafts coming out of Vertigo Studios...

Took a couple of pics for those in waiting. Just a few more days and you'll be flying too... :applause:

Cheers,

The "thousand hand" on the altimeter seems to lag between 500 and 4500 feet (indicating 1000 feet less compared to the MS indication), so I filed a support ticket. Deano said he is looking into it, but it would be nice to know if someone else suffers from the same problem or if there's something wrong on my end. Just thought I'd let everybody know in case someone else is experiencing the same. Should save Deano some support tickets.

I will look at my altimeter. I have only gotten her up to about 2000ft though as she is so much fun to fly around doing barrel rolls and stuff in. So just been buzzing around my local airfield. I certaintly haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary with the bird in my flights thus far.

Yes, I noticed it as well. I hope Deano can sort it out and produce a fix because it does rather spoil an otherwise excellent aircraft.

Mine showed up in the mail today and it's a great airplane.

I did notice the altimeter issue as well. On mine, one cockpit is ok and the other seems have the thousands needle 500 feet off--that is, the thousand needle winds up halfway between even and odd altitudes.

Really happy with the flight model and the sounds are great.

My dad soloed in a Stearman in 1942 in around 8.5 hours. I did it in a C-150 in 1975 with just about the same number of hours and it has always amazed me what he and so many others did. I would have seriously damaged myself trying to solo a Stearman in eight hours, but it was a different time then and there were far different needs. If my memory is correct, he was in the left seat of a B-17 at around 400 hours and I was pretty scary with that hour total.
