After a recent thread, I revisited this favorite of mine and was annoyed with myself for not doing a better job on the flight characteristics update I made as I've learned a lot since then. However, as I noodle around with her I re-discovered a problem I found to be unique and may well be entirely of my own making. When reducing power to start a landing sequence say from 250mph or higher, the engine sound begins to chatter and stutter with some of the gauges also twitching wildly. The aircraft, at this point, simply will not slow down unless severely pitched up or premature deployment of flaps is done. Once below maybe 150mph, the sound and gauges smooth out and the rest is normal to touch down. Am I not managing the reduction of airspeed correctly? I have tried other panels and sound sets that seemed to help but not entirely.
