Just tried it out..........nice! With such a sleek, modern design I was surprised to find it was piston powered.

Thanks.

For some reason I thought Enstrom was British, but no: Crystal Falls, Michigan.
Some nice looking paint schemes too.
And the "X" in "280FX" is a 200mm stretch which increases VNE from 97 to 102 kts!

I like it. Looks gorgeous, flies super nice, except for a bit of a wobble in some regimes -- which is probably a PEBSACC error (problem exists between seat and control column), aka my ham-fistedness...

I don't know if it's something about my setup or what, but,
the heli has wild osculations that makes it near impossible for me to fly.
anyone have any ideas?

I have not had a chance yet to try this particular helo, but on most other ones I have tried I have to reduce the realism setting for torque and p-factor by just a tiny bit to make them controllable in the immediate takeoff phase before airspeed picks up.
Normally I have them all maxed, but just two or three percent below that seems to make most whirlybird birds much more manageable for me.

Cheers

Hi John,

I was having the same problem at first.
Only after opening the individual aircraft folders did I notice that they do not contain the vital '.air file'!
The ST version does.
Just copy & paste into the other versions and you will be a happy helo-pilot!
Have fun!

Regards, Stuart

Ah-ha, great detective work there!

Was having same problem.
Didn't have time to investigate myself before having to head off to work for another week.
