I was really hoping you would post some more pictures and a video of the Super Ryan, like you did for the PT-22... :naturesm:

Looking good! Here are a couple of shots of one at an air show I went to a few years ago. Slightly different cowling, but the spitting image.

Yes some most were but there was always one guy that had to be different, lol. This was a show plane at the time and here is the original artist rendition for an old model magazine.

Hi Jim, I am painting that one as well and the cowl is different on the show Ryan in the first post and did not have the rocker bumps.

It will be included in the package as well. All in all there will be three models the PT22 with 5 liveries and 3 distinct cockpit schemes showing varying degrees of wear and tear. The Super Ryan of Rick Hamlin with two liveries and the "Stunt" Super Ryan of Bill "Pappy" Kobelt with color scheme featured on the cover of the July 1962 issue of American Modeler. We expect release March 23rd

That is great news Paul. There was a single seat STA Special 'racer' that is sort of like the Super Ryan to the PT-22. There have been RC models of it I believe. If you guys are up for another rare offshoot of the Ryan, might be a nice version to try.

In the meantime really looking foward to barnstorming around in that Super Ryan with the Accu-feel wind in my hair :)

That top one is actually a picture of the Sig Manfacturing Ryan that won the Nationals way back when. I will do that paint for sure as I have been to Sigs many times and seen this plane. The real plane was flown by John Gosney.

Hey modelr! I just recently sold mine. Had a lot of fun flying that baby. It was just too big for me. When I carried it to the flying field, I couldn't take anything else. I've sold or traded all my larger than 46 size models.

Give me this model in red with the bumps on the cowling and I'd be one happy camper.

Yes that one will be offered with the STA. Accu-feel is the bomb and works well with our aircraft. I'll be recommending it in our read me file.
