Anyone know of a freeware or payware example in development?

Less than a year ago Iris had one on the boards. They released a few development screens, it looked very nice.
Try a question in their forum.

I have the first class simulations Eurofigher Typhoon Version 2. Nice model, the interior of the cockpit isn't brilliant though. Try flightstore, there are a few to look at.

The alphasim one is in the latest batch of their freeware. There are posts here and in the fs2004 section pointing to the site.

Haven't seen any news recently, but please think twice if you're tempted to buy the AFS Design aircraft... It's got some very nice features, more texture variants than I've got aircraft in my FSX selection and I'm sure many hours were invested in it. Compared to the grand total of one static aircraft model I've made, it's a marvel and I take my hat off to Mr Meyer! Unfortunately, compared to the average payware it's got too many flaws for me to recommend it.
